BIO
Ben Emmerich is a composer, award-winning arranger, music director, and musician based in Brooklyn, NY. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester, where he studied Music Composition and Philosophy, and is currently a candidate for the Scoring for the Screen MFA program at Columbia College Chicago, studying with Kubilay Uner. Ben is also a member of the New York Vocal Collective, a new vocal ensemble led by Grammy-winning arranger and producer Ben Bram.

Ben sees himself as equal parts composer, arranger, and musician. He has a passion for making sensitive, intentional, and moving choices in his work, whether that be in film and media music, vocal and band arranging and musical direction, or as a performer and player.
